This tutorial will show you how to show your Sims' skins in yummy 3-d. To do this, you will need the following:
A paint program (to use on the skins)The Viewpoint utilities, including:
The Viewpoint plugin installed in your browser
The Viewpoint Scene Builder
The Viewpoint HTML Generator
A Viewpoint Broadcast Key
and....Your sim body, head, & hands in obj format---
I have one of these you can download to get you started, but to do your own, you will need:
and if you want to "pose" the sims:
Milkshape, (or another 3d program with obj support)Also, VERY IMPORTANT: while using the viewpoint scene builder, you will have to change your screen resolution to 1024x768 or higher. (yes, that is a little wierd, but it is a professional program and you can't use it at low resolutions. Don't worry, you can put your resolution back when you're done.)
